Sign in with your work account
Some organizations, such as an employer or a school, sign their people in to Polaris Locker, the service the app uses for licenses and sign-in. When your email belongs to one of them, typing it takes you to your organization’s sign-in instead of an emailed code.
Important
Locker and the app’s developer can’t change your organization’s sign-in or reset its password. Your organization’s IT help desk can.
Section titled “Sign in”- On the sign-in page, enter your work or school email and select Continue.
- The page shows your organization’s name and your email. Select Continue to Organization, where Organization is its name.
- Sign in on your organization’s page, the same way you do at work or school.
- You come back signed in. The first time, you also set up your account.
If your Locker account already uses that email, your organization’s sign-in is added to it, and you get an email saying so.
To use another email, select Change next to your email.
Get a code instead
Section titled “Get a code instead”Some organizations let you choose. The page then says, for example, “students.example.edu signs in through Lakeside University.” and also offers Email me a code instead. Select it, and we email you a 6-digit code, the same as for any other email.
When your organization requires its own sign-in
Section titled “When your organization requires its own sign-in”The page says, for example, “Lakeside University requires its own sign-in for example.edu addresses.” There is no code option: codes we email to that address don’t sign you in. A passkey on your account still works, and so do the other ways you added to sign in.
When your organization’s sign-in doesn’t work
Section titled “When your organization’s sign-in doesn’t work”- Select Continue to Organization again.
- If your organization’s page shows an error or doesn’t load, wait a few minutes and try again.
- If it keeps failing, contact your organization’s IT help desk.
Check it worked
Section titled “Check it worked”You’re back where you started, signed in.
